Warranty & Return Information

In the unlikely event that you experience an issue with one of our batteries, we have developed a straightforward warranty and return policy:

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Full refunds may be issued for returns of undamaged batteries not related to warranty claims, subject to a 20% restocking fee.

10-Year Manufacturer Warranty

All new PVBAT batteries come with a comprehensive 10-year manufacturer’s defect warranty from the date of purchase.

We take pride in the durability and quality of our batteries, and we confidently stand behind our engineering standards. If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it at our discretion.

The average lifespan of a PVBAT battery at 100% depth of discharge is between 6,000 and 10,000 charge cycles, depending on chemistry, or approximately 5 to 10 years under standard use (see  specifications for more information).

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Negligence or improper use
  • Misuse or unauthorized modifications
  • Normal wear and tear

If the product is found to have been used improperly, a repair fee of $150 per hour plus parts and shipping will apply.

Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, please contact our support team. You may be required to return the product to our warehouse for inspection.

All returns must comply with lithium battery shipping regulations, and special packaging or documentation may be required.

Accessories Warranty

We offer a 30-day warranty on all accessories and complimentary items (such as BE connectors and wiring).

Support Policy

We provide free lifetime technical support and troubleshooting.

Important Notes

  • Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser
  • Warranty claims may be used once per internal component for exchange or replacement
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping on all returns or warranty inspections after the first 30 days
  • Replacement units or components will only be issued after inspection and verification of the returned product
  • PVBAT is not responsible for return shipping costs
  • DIY modifications or damage caused by misuse are not covered
